Can someone help a physic major with career advice?
I am a college grad, who graduated three years ago. Graduated with a bachelor of science in physics. My job for the last five years has been tending bar, the same job that supported me in school. Due to my work schedule and other activities, I wasn't the most focused student. This of course caused gpa to suffer to about a C average, with little supplemental experience and direction. I am very well rounded bright guy capable of much more. Plus my time in the food service has taught me to be very charismatic. My question is what my best career option is? People tell me I should have no problem getting a job because of my degree alone. I know with the proper training I could be a huge asset but when i look at jobs that interest me or I could possibly excel at I get so discouraged by qualifications and requirements. Would not mind even going back to school for my masters or even another bachelor in like engineering of some sort, but at this point in the game i am kind of hoping i can just find an employer that would train me. Can someone please help with some sound advice?
