CPA, Law School, MS in Taxation/Accounting?
I am sort of in a bind I am in a private college in NY, hoping to graduate by the end of next year with my BS in accounting. Is it a good idea to go to a law school (assuming it's a t-14 school). Or should I go the business route and look for the MS in Taxation or Accounting to embellish my (hopefully no matter what) CPA license. Or is it a good idea to go for a PhD in Accounting. I have heard that accounting phd's are becoming increasingly rare. I also need 150 credits for the CPA. So do I do a masters in tax/accounting, or maybe a JD/LLM in tax qualifies me for the 150 credit hours. Someone give me advice on career option, where to apply, what tests (GMAT, GRE, LSAT) to study for, etc... I am willing to go to top schools in NY (nyu, columbia, cardozo, brooklyn, baruch, fordham, etc...)
