Mac Pro laptop or Mac PC?

okay im a junior in high school and everyone tells me windows are garbage and to get a mac, so ive been doing research and i cant decide a mac laptop with like 250gb or a pc with like 350gb and is better. but i already have an Ipad so i don't know if there is any point in getting a laptop? i can always get a real high quality one before college? help out please, tell me a pc or laptop and which one :)
