How to become ski patrol?

my passion for skiing and snowboarding has been growing and growing the past few seasons and now im hooked and would love to ski and get payed for it for the rest of my life. So how do I become a ski patrol I have done some research and have seen the different companies that offer certifications and have read some of the resort qualifications. What is the best certificate to get and is one accepted by all resorts or do you need different training depending on resort? Also how hard is it to find year round jobs. Can I get one certificate and then just apply to any resort I want?
