How can I become better at writing school papers?

Ok, I'm a freshman, and I'm English Honors....I feel like my papers aren't up to par....I've found I'm making a bunch of grammatical errors, and I feel like I'm a terrible writer...can someone give me suggestions to improve my writing? Thanks.
