I don't want a Career its a waste of life?

i don't want a career i just find that by the time you go to school, and collage/university get your career and spend your whole life working at it well then your life's over and you've spent your life spending it doing some random task for 8 hours a day everyday and that doesn't make any sense to me at all and everyone thinks I'm stupid for the way i think so i guess my question is , am i stupid ?
