Is anyone in/ or has completed the enlisted navy nuke program?

I graduated with my general associate degree in science during the summer of last year. That same summer i enrolled in a B.S in respiratory therapy at a university and didn'tlike it. I thought i wanted to do something in the medical field but realize after 6 months of it that it was extremely uninteresting and stressful. I didn't pass one of my class by 2 points and have to repeat it next fall. I left the school and now i'm back here with my parents. I decide to contact the navy to see if their was a better option then waiting 6 months to start school again. I met with a recruiter and took the asvab test and scored 81. He told me that i qualified for the nuke program and would get a bonus for that career because its indemand. I'm having second thoughts now because i don't want to waste the navy times or my time by getting into something that i'm not going to like. Can anyone tell me about their experience in the field and the type of person that will suit it.
