Anyone who has been a marine pilot?

So I've wanted to be a marine since I was like 6 and found out my dad was one. I have researched, read and learned about the different parts of the Corp since then and my goal is to earn the title. I am almost done with High School and want to enlist but once I get out I want to become an officer. I want to be a pilot so I'm really interested in both rotary wing and fixed. Can any aviator tell me which aircraft they prefer and why? Thank you.
