Tattoo on wrist... good or bad idea?

I want to get a small tattoo on my wrist in memory of someone but i'm afraid that it will one day affect my job opportunity. I want to work in a hospital when im older. Would getting a small tattoo on my wrist that actually means something affect my future career?
